Welcome to Pleasant Hill Goshen Fire & Rescue.
It is a privilege to serve as Fire Chief for this remarkable community and organization. My journey with the Fire District began in 2003 as a volunteer firefighter, and over the years I have had the opportunity to grow alongside an agency that continues to evolve in service of our residents.
Today, Pleasant Hill Goshen Fire & Rescue serves the communities of Pleasant Hill, Goshen, Jasper, and the surrounding rural areas with a dedicated team of career and volunteer personnel. Together, our firefighters, emergency medical providers, support staff, and Board of Directors share a commitment to protecting lives, property, and the quality of life that makes our community such a special place to call home.
Each year, our personnel respond to more than 1,200 emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies, vehicle crashes, rescues, hazardous materials incidents, and natural disasters. Whether responding to a life-threatening emergency or helping a resident through a difficult moment, our mission remains the same: to provide professional, compassionate, and reliable service whenever and wherever it is needed.
Over the past several years, our organization has experienced significant growth. Through careful planning, strong community support, and responsible stewardship of public resources, we have expanded staffing, improved emergency response capabilities, invested in modern equipment, and completed the construction of our new Pleasant Hill Fire Station. These investments strengthen our ability to serve the community today while preparing us for the challenges of tomorrow.
While much has changed, our values remain constant. We believe in integrity, accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and service to others. We recognize that the trust placed in us by our community is earned every day through our actions, decisions, and commitment to excellence.
