Today Pleasant Hill Goshen Fire & Rescue personnel were fortunate to have guests join us from the Willamette Leadership Academy. These students replaced the flags flying at the Pleasant Hill Fire Station. It was an honor to have their assistance and service to our community. They will also be taking the old flags to respectfully retire them. Thank you to these students for their kindness and service. ... See MoreSee Less

Thank you for all you do for our community.
Pleasant Hill Goshen crews have cleared the scene of a two vehicle crash in which both vehicles rolled. Drivers from both vehicles have been transported to area hospitals by Eugene Springfield Fire. Both on duty crews from PHG responded. We are in the final days of having our summer extra crew as the grant funding will be exhausted. Having two crews to respond to these critical incidents has been benificial during our busy season! As always, keep in the loop on all that our organization is doing by visiting pleasanthillgoshenfire.org ... See MoreSee Less

They really need to put up a light there at seavey loop and Franklin boulevard there are so many wrecks here as well you know it's because new people keep going to Mount Pisgah and they don't realize that there is a stop sign there is half hidden behind the tree and it's so small I live right down the road on Franklin and there's always wreaks there, I've almost been hit quite a few times my sister's been hit there twice and we're careful going down Franklin because we know how bad it is there they need some stop lights there or something
Being the $150m winner of the 2019 powerball jackpot is a great gain. I vowed to help people in need of financial support, Being blessed with $150m dollars really meant a lot to me and I feel like I don’t deserve it as I know the real struggle people go through in a bid to make ends meet. Therefore I voluntarily decided to donate and touch the lives of men and women who have found themselves in financial crisis, to individuals around the world according to how God leads me to do. I try to reach people randomly from different sources and modes so as to touch lives from different parts of the world. Now I’m giving you an opportunity to share your pain with me drop a message for me and I'll reply you. Respectfully: Bill Lawrence]

Sometimes injuries and accidents can happen in difficult to access locations. Pleasant Hill Goshen Fire deploys a special Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) which is equipped to carry rescuers and an injured subject. Today’s mission is rescuing an injured hiker from the Mt Pisgah recreational area. Calls like this are labor intensive and require more than one crew to have enough hands. Fortunately this summer we’ve had grant funding to provide that second crew during the day hours. Staffing is a critical role in our ability to rapidly respond to a variety of emergency incidents. ... See MoreSee Less

I thought Mt. Pisgah was closed?
Occasionally, emergencies in our community cause serious life threatening injuries. In these cases, rapid transport to the hospital is necessary for the safety and wellbeing of the patient. Tuesday night, Pleasant Hill Goshen personnel were responding to two seperate calls dispatched within minutes of each other. The second call, a vehicle rollover crash, required the patient to be transported to the hospital by helicopter due to the extent of the injuires. We appreciate the partnership between Eugene Springfield Fire, Life Flight, and our agency. ... See MoreSee Less
